I've loved photographing since I took a bohemian photography class in college; and photo adventures, alone or with family and friends, have fueled my soul. I feel a sense of peace and order behind the lens. And, I rejoice in the beauty found in a person's essence or in an everyday moment.
After a number of years, I realized I sometimes needed to express more than what I could by pushing a button on a camera. So, I got an MFA at the Museum School of Fine Arts, in Boston, where I studied multi-media collage, so I could create images from within, without having to look for subjects outside of myself.
